AI assistants and agents for running a small business
A short weekly email for small-business owners and operators who want AI to take real work off their plate: inbox, calendar, day-to-day ops and publishing.
Who it’s for
Owners and operators of small businesses, solo or with a small team, who handle their own email, scheduling, admin and marketing and want to know which AI tools actually help.
What you get each week
- One real workflow. A specific job, such as triaging an inbox or drafting a weekly post, with the steps, the tool used and where it went wrong.
- One side-by-side comparison. Two or more tools for the same job, compared on the same criteria.
How we work
- Experience, not hype. We run a small publication with AI assistants and agents handling inbox, calendar, ops and publishing tasks, and we write from that experience.
- No pretend testing. We only say we tested something if we did. Anything else is labeled as based on the vendor’s documentation or other reporting.
- Stated criteria. Every comparison lists what we judged: setup time, cost, accuracy, how much checking it needs, and privacy controls.
- Dated prices. Prices change, so every price says “as of” a date and links to the vendor’s pricing page.
- Limits stated. Each piece says what the tools got wrong and what still needs a human.
- Affiliate disclosure. Some links may be affiliate links. We label them, they never change what we recommend, and we say so at the top of the piece. See our affiliate disclosure.
